This post sadly notes the passing of one of my favorite authors, Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
Although I am otherwise not a big science fiction fan, I thoroughly enjoyed his works in my youth, especially Cat’s Cradle and Slaughterhouse-Five, the latter which was also a great movie.
I was listening to the NBC Today show this morning, and in their brief mention of his death, they noted that he was a PR guy for GE early in his career. Who knew!
As Paul Harvey would say, and "now you know the rest of the story." (Good day!)
